About me
After graduating with a degree in English Literature, I kick-started a career in Marketing and Communications. I combined two of my favourite things - supporting others and the written word - by working in the charity sector, before pivoting to the private sector.
Yet throughout this time, I still didn't feel fulfilled. I decided a career change was needed, and finally took the plunge to retrain as a therapist - something I'd always dreamed of doing.
I'd seen firsthand just how valuable therapy could be - how learning to understand yourself, your patterns, and what makes you tick can teach you to trust yourself. I wanted to give that to others. I had been there, done that, got the t-shirt in my teens; dealing with anxiety and depression and wondering if I'd ever learn to like myself. I did, and I still do.
When I'm not working, you'll most likely find me curled up with a book, having a laugh with friends and family, or lifting weights.
