Who and what I work with

Many of the people I work with are Millennials and Gen Z who feel overwhelmed by life, their thoughts and their emotions.

  • They might have an inner self-critic who tells them they're worthless.

  • They might be constantly worrying: "What do people think of me? Am I good enough?"

  • They might spend hours replaying conversations with people in their heads, searching for all the things they did wrong.

  • They might feel as though their emotions control them, sending them on a constant rollercoaster of feelings that they don't know how to manage.

  • They might be looking for clarity on who they are, why they do what they do, and how their life has shaped them.

  • They might be LGBTQ+ and trying to navigate a hostile world with their identity.

  • They might people-please, rely on perfectionism to get them through, and still wonder why life feels so overwhelming.

It's my job as your therapist to empower you to create the life you want. To put you back into the driving seat of your own life where you can live with confidence, clarity and a bit more calm.

Therapy can't stop life events from happening, but it can grow the trust you have in yourself to be who you truly are. When you make decisions from a place of authenticity - when you understand you are worthy and have always been worthy - you can take steps every day to live the life you want to lead.

So whether you'd like to grow your low self-worth and self-esteem, quieten your anxiety or climb out of the fog of depression, learn to navigate change or discover how to be yourself in relationships, therapy with me could be the space you need.

How does therapy work?

Therapy, also known as counselling, is about giving you time and space wholly devoted to your needs and wellbeing. In therapy with me, you have the freedom and control to decide what you want to work on or talk about, but that doesn't mean I'll just leave you hanging. This is a relationship, one designed for you to feel supported, accepted and understood.

So that means one session might look like diving into a deep discussion. The next might look like using creative tools to unpick tangled thoughts or feelings. Then the next might look like you sitting down and saying, "I don't even know where to begin", and me saying, "That's okay, let's figure it out together."

Therapy works because it's about providing you with a therapeutic relationship (think: nurturing, supportive and curious) in which you can learn about yourself and grow to be more you. Not a new you, but all the wonderful things you already are.

What to expect

Your therapy experience with me

Let's get to know each other

First, we'll meet over the phone or via video call for 20 minutes to see if we're the right fit. This is your chance to ask questions, for us to explore what you need, and see how we could work together.

In-person or online

We'll meet either in-person in my cosy little therapy space in Worcester city centre, or online via Microsoft Teams from the comfort of your home.

For as long as you need

There's no time limit on our work together. I'm here for as long as you need this space, whether that's for 6 weeks or 2 years. And after that, I'll still be here if you ever need that dedicated time to figure things out.

Pricing

Therapy is an investment in your wellbeing and self-awareness, but it also shouldn't be inaccessible to you. I provide a sliding scale so I can see as many people who need therapy as possible.

Individual therapy (18 and over): £60

Students and trainee therapists: £50

Low-income (limited availability): £40

Sessions are 60 minutes. I recommend starting weekly, as this helps establish the therapeutic relationship and may provide the quickest relief, but I also offer fortnightly sessions.
